Burch Peanut Roasting Machine

Apparently, Burch made concession equipment beyond popcorn machines.  Here is my un-restored Burch Manufacturing Company countertop nut roasting machine:

Front:

Control Box on top of machine with ID tag (notice the space in popcorn--pop corn):

Inside--the cooking area:

The nuts are placed in the cooking area.  A strip heater heats them  The motor turns the shaft to stir the nut.  The nuts are dumped to a warming area below by rotating the opening in the cylindrical container.  There are three pieces of glass on this machine; they are all beveled glass.  It is quite heavy for its size; it weighs about 70 pounds.  It is 20" wide by 15" deep by 15 1/2" tall (not considering the motor and electrical switch box).
